A second-generation tattoo artist now based in Denver, Driftwood’s work is rooted in movement, creative immersion, and unexpected detours. Raised across cities and coastlines, his path eventually led him abroad, working alongside artists from diverse backgrounds and disciplines. At nineteen, he stepped away entirely, spending three years as a Buddhist monk—a period that continues to inform his creative approach with presence and depth.

Whether blackwork, bold or fine line, dotwork, realism, or abstract, each piece is guided by the universal principles of design—crafted with the body’s natural flow and architecture in mind.

His philosophy: tattooing is more than skin-deep. The artist serves as a conduit, a magnifying lens for the client’s creative energy. When space is held with trust and openness, and the process is allowed to unfold, inspiration grows into something that feels less made, and more revealed.
