A second-generation tattoo artist now based in Denver, Driftwood’s work has been shaped by travel, passion, and curiosity.
Raised in tattoo shops across the U.S. from Hawaii to Massachusetts and everywhere in between. At nineteen, he stepped away for a time, spending three years as a Buddhist monk in a Theravadan forest monastery—an experience that still informs his approach to both art and life.

His work spans ornamental, fine and bold line, dotwork, realism, and illustrative. Each piece is guided by fundamental design principles and shaped to fit naturally on the body.

Tattooing is more than skin-deep. Both the Tattooer and Tattoo-ee act as a conduits for the creative energy and process. When that space is held with trust and openness, inspiration shines naturally, the final result growing into something that feels less constructed, and more unearthed.
